AMADEUS BASIC - GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS (GDS)

Precondition knowledge of English language
About course:
  • The course is designed for employees of travel agencies, airline employees and others who are willing to start their careers in tourism
  • The course provides the basics of the Amadeus system
  • Knowledge and experience gained in this course gives participants a great employment opportunity in tourist sector as well as personal growth and development
Topics covered by the lectures:
  • Introduction to the Amadeus system and its use
  • General terms in air traffic
  • Searching for flights and finding the most favorable tariffs
  • Creating and modifying reservations
  • Interpretation of tariff tearms
  • Risk situations in process of making a reservation
  • Special requests and EMD
Education goals:
  • To provide students with knowledge of using Amadeus system independently and safely.
  • To teach students how to find the best ticket for passenger,to create and modify the reservation and correctly interpret the terms of airline ticket.
Duration of lectures: 40 hours divided in 5 days (3 days of theory + 2 days of practical work)
Cerificate: After successfully passing the final test, participants will receive a certificate.

  • All our lecturers have a lot of air traffic work experience in the some of the leading agencies at Croatian, Slovenian and Serbian market. The quality of teaching is based on their experience and on using real examples from daily work.
Price: 1.600,00 HRK + VAT (270.00 EUR)

AMADEUS ADVANCED - PASSENGER FARES , REISSUE AND TICKET REFUNDATION

Precondition

  • Amadeus basic global distribution systems (GDS)
  • Passenger fares and ticketing – Amadeus basic
About course:
  • The course is designed for agents with expertise in the Amadeus system who wish to expand their knowledge and thus contribute to a better quality of customer service
  • The course covers specific topics in the field of tariffs (travel around the world, rates for certain categories of passengers, promotional tariffs ...) and topics of refunds and change of plane tickets.
Topics covered by the lectures:
  • Special tariffs (travel around the world, one way tickets, rates for certain categories of passengers, promotional tariffs ...)
  • Frequent flyers programs
  • Procedure in creating the reservation for specific categories of passengers – UMNR, Senior passengers...
  • Low budget airlines
  • Procedure for change and reissue (unused and partialy used airplane tickets)
  • Volontary rerouting (unused and partialy used airplane tickets)
  • Change of the ticket with penalties, without penalties and with possibility of refundation
  • Issuing documents for additional payments – MCO/MPD/EMD
  • Manual TST

  • To provide participants knowledge about specific topics which contribute to the quality of the customer service
  • Hosting associates and experts to enable the participants to be acquainted with the latest information and innovations at the market, and to provide knowledge about advanced use of the system
  • Through examples, participants will gain knowledge about airplane ticket changes (volountary and involountary reissue), about rerouting of unused and partialy used tickets and about refundation of airplane tickets
